In a third related report, the American company Trade Aboard sent a letter to the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs requesting permission to establish a steel production plant in Lebanon. The letter was subsequently referred to the specialized department within the Ministry of Economy.
The Lebanese Ministry of Defense also expressed great interest in this type of manufacturing facility in Lebanon, noting that it is something the Lebanese Army needs as well.
