جاء في جريدة الزمان 1950:
وُزّعت مناشير في طرابلس موقعة بإمضاء مفتي بعلبك الشيخ حبيب آل إبراهيم وهي تتضمن نداءً بتحريم القنبلة الذرية واستعمالها بقصد القتل وإبـ.ـادة البشر... وقد بوشر التحقيق !!!

As published in Al-Zaman newspaper - 1950:
"Leaflets signed by the Mufti of Baalbek, Sheikh Habib Al-Ibrahim, were distributed in Tripoli. They contain an appeal to ban the atomic bomb and its use for the purpose of killing and exterminating humanity... An investigation has been initiated!!!"
