نقيب أشراف الشيعة يقاتل مع ابن تيمية ضد الكسروانيين 1305 م

ينقل الدكتور جودت القزويني عن تاريخ ابن كثير أنه في الحملة المملوكية الثالثة عام 1305 م / 704 هـ ، والتي انتهت بإبادة شيعة كسروان، قام نقيب أشراف الشيعة في حلب زين الدين محمد بن عدنان الحسيني بمحاولة وساطة بين الكسروانيين و التنوخين (ومن ورائهم المماليك)، لكنها فشلت بسبب زواج الشريف من إحدى التنوخيات، وينسب إليه اشتراكه مع ركب ابن تيمية في ضرب الجرد ودحر الكسروانيين.

Dr. Jawdat Al-Qazwini quotes Ibn Kathir's history stating that during the third Mamluk campaign in 1305 AD—which ended in the elimination of the Shia of Keserwan—Zayn al-Din Muhammad ibn Adnan al-Husseini, the Naqib of Shia Ashraf in Aleppo, attempted to mediate between the Keserwanis and the Tanukhs (backed by the Mamluks). However, the mediation failed because the Sharif married a Tanukhi woman. He is also said to have joined Ibn Taymiyyah’s troop in attacking Al-Jurd and defeating the Keserwanis.
