صرّح أحد أعضاء الوفود العربية إلى مؤتمر لوزان (1949؟) أن حكومة إسـرائيل أبلغت أعضاء لجنة التوفيق الدولية بلسان وفدها إلى المؤتمر أنها تطالب بكل شدة وإصرار بجعل القدس بكاملها عاصمة لها، وأن هذه الدولة أُنشئت لتضم جزءا من شرق الأردن ومساحة كبيرة من الاراضي السورية مع جزء من الصحراء العراقية ومنطقة جبل عامل....
